Flo's Scopes Playground 2

SCOPES #13 through #26
Updated, August 29, 2003

FLO has placed some more scopes here for your enjoyment and study. You may c/c/p the codes from the textareas below each scope.

For another kind of playground, take one of these codes to Tom Landrum's wonderful tool, SCOPE-on-the-Fly.

"VERTICAL" SCOPES

Scopes usually have horizontal orientations. But if you make the width very narrow and the height very tall in proportion, then all the action will appear to be vertical. Check out Scopes 13 through 17.

SCOPE #13 - SKINNY SCOPE

SCOPE #14 - BLACK & WHITE SCOPE - This scope also has Maxlevel.

SCOPE #15 - Looks sort of like a bubbling fontain.

SCOPE #16 - With colored backgrounds and varying heights, you could dress up a vertical bar graph with scopes.

SCOPE #17 - Three widely separated vertical scopes.

For more about "vertical" scopes, see page bottom.

GAIN

SCOPE #18 - 0 Gain, No Offset Necessary with 0 Gain.

For Scopes 19 and 20, use the same codes as for Scope 18, changing only the gain as specified:

SCOPE #19: -5 Gain, No Offset

SCOPE #20: 5 Gain, No offset

For Scopes 21 and 22, the gain is the same -5, but the offsets are reversed:

SCOPE #21: Left Offset 5, Right Offset -5

SCOPE #22: Left Offset -5, Right Offset 5

SCOPE #23: 5 Gain; Left Offset 10, Right Offset -5; 2 Identical Scopes Tabled. As you can see, even though we have varied the settings for the different attributes, there seem to be only slight differences between Scopes 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23.

SCOPE #24: - Similar to those above, with a black bgcolor instead of white.

SCOPE #25: For the light inside LANTERNS or for FLAMES/FIRE:

SCOPE #26: SCOPE FROM MIKE LOBONE - For this effect, Mike used a super high gain of 280, but a height of only 2 for each scope. He made the offsets 30 and -30. Then he stacked 60 identical scopes! The textarea box contains only one scope. So if you want this effect, you'll have to paste that scope 59 more times. There are no line break tags <br> between the scopes. If you want them narrower, then you'll have to supply the line breaks after each scope.
